Last updated: 1 July 2026 · Effective: 1 July 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating a Readylert account or using the Readylert platform ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("Vendor") and Readylert Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14829301).
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
Readylert provides a web-based order notification platform that allows food service operators to notify customers when their orders are ready, via QR code-based customer sessions. The Service includes a vendor dashboard, customer wait pages, analytics, and support tools.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate and complete registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at security@readylert.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You must be at least 18 years old and have legal authority to enter into contracts on behalf of your business to create an account.
4. Subscription and payment
Access to the Service requires a paid subscription (after the 14-day free trial). Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly basis via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Readylert to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Prices may change with 30 days' written notice. If you do not accept a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law.
5. Free trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. You will be charged on day 15 unless you cancel before the trial ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to: violate any applicable law or regulation; transmit fraudulent, misleading, or illegal content; interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure; use automated tools to scrape or harvest data.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.
7. Intellectual property
Readylert and all content, trademarks, and data on the platform are the property of Readylert Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose during the term of your subscription.
You retain ownership of any data you input into the Service (e.g., order numbers, business information).
8. Data and privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have appropriate consent or legal basis to use your customers' data in connection with the Service.
9. Service availability
We target 99.9% monthly uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Readylert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of customers, or loss of data.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Subscription page in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We may terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
