What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to improve efficiency, and to provide information to website owners.
How Readylert uses cookies
Readylert uses a minimal set of cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the Service, plus cookies set by Stripe (our payment processor) during checkout.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking services.

Strictly necessary cookies
The rp.sid cookie is set when you log in as a vendor. It maintains your session so you don't have to log in on every page. This cookie is essential to the operation of the service and cannot be disabled.
Stripe cookies (__stripe_sid and __stripe_mid) are set by Stripe during the checkout process to detect and prevent fraud. These are also strictly necessary for payment processing.
Customer sessions
The Readylert customer wait page does not use cookies. Instead, the customer's session ID is stored in localStorage and optionally as a short-lived cookie for PWA compatibility on iOS. This data contains only the session UUID and is not used for tracking or advertising.
Managing cookies
Because Readylert only uses strictly necessary cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner (in accordance with the UK ICO's guidance on cookies). Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under UK/EU law.
You can delete cookies from your browser settings at any time. If you delete the rp.sid cookie, you will be logged out of your vendor account.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if we change the cookies we use. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
